​Update 8 April 2024 – Dancing in the Dark

Welcome to the end of daylight savings. The studio is now going to be a bit darker when you leave. I will do my best to recall putting on the outside lights for you.
Group classes this week:

• Monday 7:30pm Street Latin - Argentine tango (a classic dance all should know)
• Tuesday 6:30pm Latin American - Samba (a very fun high energy dance)
• Wednesday 7:30pm Swing and R'n'R - West Coast Swing (the dance of improvisation)
• Thursday 6:30pm Ballroom - Waltz (the classic ballroom dance)

Check out the home page for the dances in the next cycle, but we will have a week of dances where we can do as we wish. I am not sure what they will all be, but we will do Viennese waltz on the Thursday – everyone seems to like that one. I will keep you updated.

• Project NFT Milonga - https://tangoclub.melbourne/events/nft-project-milonga/?occurrence=2024-05-05 – this will be our first tango outing (on May 5).

 
Finally, remember the awards coming up. If you are not going for an award, then you get to watch and support others, enjoy a dance lesson, enjoy some social dancing, eat some pizza, and simply have a good night.
