Couple's lessons

The best dance lesson option when there's two

When there's two of you, you have someone to practice with and you can halve the costs. These lessons then become ideal
While ideal for a wedding dance, couple's lessons are also an option for any two people who want to learn to dance. Getting couple's lessons can literally halve the cost per person and still get many of the advantages of private lessons. The key attributes of a couples lesson are:
  • You can get tailored attention
  • But you might need to spend time waiting while your partner gets attention
  • You can practice with your partner outside of class and you both can recall what you needed to work on
  • You might still only be able to dance with your partner
  • You have an extra head there to help work out how to overcome challenges
  • You might want to deal with challenges with just you and your teacher
As you can see couple's lessons can be more cost effective, and there could be advantages having a partner there to help you, but there might be times when the attention in not on your progress.
Like the private lessons, these also cost $80* an hour.
