Knowing you are learning proper dance
When you learn to dance, you want to know that you can dance with others anywhere in the world. As well as teaching a large number of styles so you can always dance the style that is being danced at any event, we focus on teaching you to dance properly. They key to this is our relationship with the Australian Dancing Society (ADS). The ADS is part of a coalition of international dance organisations that keeps everyone around the globe on the same page when it comes to dance so that we can all dance with each other.
Destine Dance runs an awards night where you can show what you know to a registered member of the ADS. This gives you 2 things:

The Southern Area Concert Band. When they were engaging talent for their Dance Around the World performance, The Southern Area Concert Band contacted Destine Dance to choreograph and perform a Foxtrot to their rendition of Beauty and the Beats.
Power Up Domestic Abuse Awareness fundraiser. The organisers of this fundraiser wanted a display dance to showcase respectful interactions between men and women in an entertaining way. Destine Dance was asked to do this.
Dear Ida – A Dance Theatre Production. Destine dance consulted with the producers of a play about dance halls in WWII so that they could offer a genuine representation of dance in their play.
Little Dreamers' Youth Festival. We were asked to show case to youth what a career in dance can be like.
