Monday 7:30pm - street Latin
Tuesday 6:30pm - American Latin
Wednesday 7:30pm - Swing and Rock and Roll
Thursday 6:30pm - Ballroom

I hope the long weekend is treating you well.

Two things relating to the long weekend:

1. Tomorrow there is a live band at Caulfield RSL (just around the corner from Destine Dance). I will be there along with those who booked earlier. There is now only standing room. But please come if you can - www.facebook.com/events/1126168184606783. $20 at the door.
2. We will have the group class on Monday even though it is a holiday. So see you there for street Latin (salsa and tango) and the social after that.

Should be a good weekend. This is why the update is coming out early - to alert you.

As for the rest of the week, we will again not have the group class on Thursday as we re-organize staff. I will let you know as soon as we have this sorted. Seems we need to get more staff in.

Finally, we will be having another 4 week program to recruit more students mid July - so it can lead into the next awards night. Please, if you know people thinking about learning dance, then alert them.

We have reached the coldest time of year - Chunnup - in the Melbourne indigenous calendar. But not to worry; we have heating so the dance classes will always be pleasant. 

This is a reminder that we have the awards nights on 31 August. We already have students who have signed up for these so make sure you are part of it. The next 4 week program will be leading into this as well so we plan on having a good sized group for you to be a part of.

Classes this week remain the same as they have been:
Monday 7:30pm
Advanced: Argentine tango and salsa 
Beginner: Argentine tango and salsa 

Tuesday 6:30pm
Advanced: Jive and Cha cha 
Beginner: Jive and Cha cha

Wednesday 7:30pm
Advanced: rock and roll and Lindy Hop
Beginner: rock and roll and Lindy Hop ​

Note we have no Thursday lesson as we re-allocate teaching staff - sorry about the inconvenience. 

Let me know if you would like to see something different in these classes. We can always do this in the advanced class and now is the time to explore other styles in the beginner class before we go back to the usual content in the next 4 week program.
