This is the last week of the impromptu group classes. We will be doing the following:

• Monday 7:30pm Street Latin - Salsa (the classic street Latin dance)
• Tuesday 6:30pm Latin American - Cha cha (the fun sassy dance)
• Wednesday 7:30pm Swing and R'n'R - Rock and Roll (the rebel dance)
• Thursday 6:30pm Ballroom - Viennese waltz (the one that started the ballroom scene)

Then, the following week, we start the usual 6 week cycles. This also is when we start a new 4 week intro package - https://www.destinedance.com.au/intro-4weeks.html. Please share this with anyone who you know who is interested in learning to dance.

First off, group classes this week:

• Monday 7:30pm Street Latin - merengue (the most fun of all the dances with a bit of sass)
• Tuesday 6:30pm Latin American - Jive (if ballroom and R'n'R had a baby) 
• Wednesday 7:30pm Swing and R'n'R - West Coast Swing (also called Hollywood swing)
• Thursday 6:30pm B​allroom - Tango (the ballroom version of the classic dance that dominated the world)

This Friday is a public holiday so we have a chance for our fist dance social event this year. Come along - www.facebook.com/events/723395346554111 - it's at the studio venue so it's easy to get to. Mention Destine Dance when you get there so we can all be on the same table. It's a good price and it's always good dancing to live music.

• Tuesday 6:30pm Latin American - Samba (a unique member of the group that is always fun)
• Wednesday 7:30pm Swing and R'n'R - Lindy Hop (the origin of swing)
• Thursday 6:30pm ​Ballroom - Waltz (the classic)

We start classes for the year on the 15th - that's one week away!
 
This week, if you are a private student, your teacher should get in touch with you to organise your regular lessons.

Note. There has been an increase in prices to accommodate increasing costs for staff. But I have kept things competitive with other studios. Also, we still have the discount for uni-students and retirees doing privates and there is a discount if you buy 10 private lessons at once.
 
Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on what they would like to learn. I was not able to accommodate all requests, but I did my best to put together a suite of lessons over the next few weeks that will cover most of what was desired. Please take a look at the website home page to see what we will be learning.
