**Update 2 Oct 2023 - All is nominal**

Nothing very exciting this time. So first a reminder of the group classes this week:

• Monday 7:30pm Street Latin - Kizomba (a fun African version of Argentine tango)
• Tuesday 6:30pm Latin American - Jive (If Rock and Roll and Ballroom had a baby)
• Wednesday 7:30pm Swing and R'n'R - Lindy Hop (The origin of swing and related styles)
• Thursday 6:30pm Ballroom - Waltz (the most classic of partner dances)

​Thanks to everyone who came to the bachata event on the weekend gone. It was a fun night and it was good to see everyone (including the beginner dancers) enjoy a night of dance.

The next event currently on the calendar is the Gatsby night - https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1091741. If you have not booked your ticket, then do so. And mention Destine Dance when you are asked if you are part of a group so you are on our table.

In preparation for this night, we will do a special week of group classes focused on dances suited to the theme: Charleston, cha cha and social foxtrot.
