What do you like most about dance?
My soul and my body always tell me feel that I need to dance. In some part of my life I had stopped dancing and the emotional response was terrible. I think dance is one expression of myself.
What do you like about teaching dance?
I enjoy seeing people's happiness. When I am teaching I realize that every person has a dance dream and most of the time they experience energy and passion. I like to be part of those dreams and personal objectives.
What's your favourite quote about dance and why?
“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” Martha Graham. Because I feel and think exactly the same. When I dance I feel that my soul expresses the deepest feelings that I have.
Why did you start dancing?
When I was a baby and even though I hadn't learnt to walk, I was dancing with my hands and arms when I listened to the music, this is my mom's story about me. As far as I am concerned dancing is part of my DNA and me.
What do you think most people do not know about dance but should know?
Dancing is not a matter of esthetics or techniques, the most important is to transfer your personal feelings to your body movement. It is a matter of freedom.
