Update 2 Nov 2024 - Remember Monday

This is not the usual date the update goes out on, but because of the nature of this week, I wanted to send it early. 
 
I mentioned it some time back, but remember that there are no classes on Monday. So classes this week are:

• Tuesday 6:30pm Latin American - Jive (if rock and roll and ballroom had a baby)
• Wednesday 7:30pm Swing and RnR - Lindy Hop (the origin of swing)
• Thursday 6:30pm Ballroom - Slow foxtrot (the most elegant dance)

 
Because there is no class on Monday night, you might like to go to this cup eve event at the Dutch Club:

• The Herberts
• Expect some classic 60s rock and pop with a few surprises thrown in
• Carnegie Hall Dutch Club Abel Tasman
• 60 Rosstown Rd, Carnegie VIC 3163, Australia
• Doors open at 7.00pm, band onstage at 8.30pm.
• There is a full bar so no BYO - You’re welcome to bring platter nibble etc
